The Home Office has now published the implementation dates for the actuarial factors it is responsible for.
In our Latest News item of 20 July, we gave details of how to find the new factors, we were awaiting the implementation dates for them.
They are now listed in the document below and effectively the outstanding factor changes will come into effect on 1 August 2026 (highlighted in red). The table also shows the dates of implementation of other factors that were already decided.
We have published all of the factor dates for completeness, many of them will need pension administrator assistance and are for specific topics such as divorce.
The Federation intends to do a webinar on the factors and how to find and interpret them and will publish details of the date of the webinar early next week.
