QUESTION 1:
Due to the recent increase in member subscriptions that was voted for at the recent NFEW conference in Birmingham and the fact the members of the North Wales branch won't answer the question of which way they voted. Which has been asked a number of times. I am kindly asking that you provide the following information under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
Which way you voted on the subscription raise.
QUESTION 2:
The expenses claimed by the Secretary for his attendance at the conference.
Responded: 26 February 2026
RESPONSE 1:
The voting is managed by a third party and therefore the Police Federation of England and Wales does not hold this data.
RESPONSE 2:
The Branch Secretary has submitted receipts and invoices that were charged to their card for the purposes of the PFEW Annual Conference and National Council (NC) meeting. Please note the following:
• the Secretary travelled to and from the venue with other Branch members for which a vehicle was hired. This is therefore a shared travel expense.
• The subsistence figure includes, but is not limited to, a dinner that was bought for seven members of the North Wales Branch whilst they were staying for the conference/NC meeting. This figure is, again, a shared cost and the full total cannot be solely attributed to the Secretary.
