Please treat this as a new FOI requesting details of the Pol Fed's CEO's salary or salary band since appointment in July 2023.

RESPONSE:

The Police Federation of England and Wales (PFEW) is in the process of finalising the 2023 accounts with a view to publication at the end of summer 2025. This is to be closely followed by the publication of the 2024 accounts by the end of this calendar year. Consequently, the PFEW is applying section 22 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (information intended for future publication) to this request.

The PFEW intends to publish the information alongside other remuneration data and maintains that it would be unfair to publish the CEO’s salary or salary band independently from the rest of the details. The PFEW considers that providing this data at this time, before the official publication date, would be prejudicial to the interests of our members who should be allowed to find out such details in the official and contextualised capacity.
