Responded: 22 November 2024

1. The Police Federation of England and Wales (PFEW) is funded solely by membership subscriptions and not via council tax or government grants.

2. Please revert to our covering email.

3. PITCOMP 233 Limited (the "Company") is a residents management company that relates to a development of flats on Highbury Drive, Leatherhead, adjacent to Federation House. The various owners of the flats in this development hold shares in the Company. The PFEW currently owns 11 flats in this development (the "Flats") and 11 shares in the Company (one for each flat) are held by trustees on behalf of the PFEW (listed as "Police Federation Trustees"). The PFEW is a director of the Company.

As the PFEW does not own PITCOMP, Southern Housing Group (SHG) does not have shares in the PFEW, which is a statutory body.  It is possible that SHG also owns some flats on the development and that it is a shareholder of PITCOMP on that basis.

4. The PFEW does hold this data but is exempting it under Section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000: Information accessible to the applicant by other means.  Please find data in relation to this question detailed in FOI 00392 on our Disclosure Log (https://www.polfed.org/resources/access-to-information/disclosure-log/)

5. Dermalogica does not, nor has it ever had any shares in the PFEW.  The document referred to in the question appears to be PITCOMP’s annual return and not the PFEW’s.  On this basis, it is PITCOMP that Dermalogica held shares in and not the PFEW.

6. Linden Homes has never been owned or had any affiliation with the PFEW and therefore the PFEW does not hold this data.

7. This question appears to concern PITCOMP and therefore the PFEW does not hold this data.

8. The PFEW does hold this data but is exempting it under Section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000: Information accessible to the applicant by other means.  Please find data in relation to police officers and police constables here: https://www.polfed.org/resources/leaflets-downloads/the-office-of-constable/

Please find information on the liability of police officers within the Police Act 1996, specifically Section 88 here: https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1996/16/section/88
