Acting National Chair Brian Booth said: "Today, we stood together as a policing family to pay our respects to PC Tom Clough, a courageous officer who dedicated his life to serving others, both in the military and in policing. He was deeply loved by his family, friends and colleagues, and remembered by those who knew him as someone who would ‘give everything to everybody’.

“Our thoughts remain with Tom's loved ones, and everyone affected by this tragic loss. The turnout at today's service reflected the respect, admiration and affection held for Tom across the policing family and the wider community. He was a hero to many, a valued colleague and friend, and he will never be forgotten.”
