LATEST INFORMATION (WEF 1^ST OCT 2024)

Our Trustees met with Philip Williams in August and ensured that your level of cover and value for money were paramount and with the minimal price increase for this year we hope you agree:

• The cost for cover for members under age 70 will increase by £1 to £35.50.
• Age limit has been extended to age 79 (will cease on 80^th birthday) with travel cover limited to European cover only for those age 75 – 79 & must possess a GHIC card.
• The cost for partner cover remains at £8.00 each month but only for partners under age 70
• There is now no life cover included for retired members age 70 – 79 and as a result the premium has reduced from £39.50 to £31.50 each month
• There is now no partner cover (previously £8.00 per month) for those partners in the 70 – 79 bracket
• Inclusion of a Cruise extension to provide specific cover for example missed departure, skipped port, cabin confinement & loss or damage to cruise attire.

We hope you agree with us in Branch that this remains a fantastic product and one that is very hard to beat; especially with the level of travel cover you can continue to enjoy until you now reach age 79. 

If though, you wish to cancel your cover at any time please email Ruth  ruth.robertson@polfed.org or call 01522 305460 so that she can make contact with your pension provider to cease any future payments for you.

Retired members of the group insurance are now eligible to book either a 3 night stay ( Fri to Mon ) or a 4 night stay ( Mon to Fri ) during the months of March, May (excluding school holiday), June, September, October (excluding school holiday) , November & December
