TRiM
Trauma Risk Management (TRiM) provides advice and assistance to members who have attended or been involved in incidents and investigations that they have found distressing or disturbing.
There are also times when the incident isn’t necessarily to others serious or traumatic but there may be factors involved that generate a personal reminder, these are called triggers which may evoke a personal response linked to your personal/private life and may just need talking through.
The Trim process is progressed where it is identified that another may benefit from an intervention. These are identified by a number of routes.
A TRiM assessment will not take place until at least 48 hours after an incident. This is to allow normal processing to take place. A trained TRiM practitioner will then make contact with you which may be after the first 24 hours but usually within 3 days.

WHY HELP 4 ADDICTION / REHUB
Addiction and recovery are things that both Help 4 Addiction and Rehubs are passionate about and have emotional connections to.
The founder and CEO of Help 4 Addiction and Rehubs, Nicholas Conn, was a former police officer himself who found himself struggling to reach out due to the challenging nature of the job. This is why the partnership with the Police Federation was a logical and meaningful alignment.
Nick has maintained sobriety since 2009 and has been employed in the Addiction and Rehab Industry for more than ten years.
This is Help 4 Addiction, and Rehubs has proudly created a partnership with the Police Federation to provide a safe space for officers throughout England and Wales to talk if they are struggling with addiction personally or for someone close to them.
The first steps are always the hardest ones to take towards the journey to recovery, but recognising the problem is a victory in itself. With the help and support from Help 4 Addiction and Rehubs, individuals can find a path towards recovery, fostering resilience and well-being.
