Recent Police Officer Pension Changes... including SCAPE discount rate... Q and A for officers coming on Tuesday June 30. 

Police Friendly/Metfriendly are running one of their regular “Know Your Numbers” webinars this coming Tuesday 30 June from 10am to 11.30am - which should help those with questions on the recent Government police pension changes and how it affects officer lump sums.

There will also be sections on utilising the Pensions Calculator and understanding your pension statement.

It will cover important financial information to prepare you for approaching retirement and any financial considerations, such as opting out, lump sum commutations and tax implications.

The webinar will feature a presentation produced by Paul Turpin, senior Pension adviser to the Police Federation of England and Wales - and include time for a Q&A from participants/an explanation and update on the most recent announcement.
