Members are invited to take part in a programme of webinars next week in recognition of International Women’s Day.
Among the highlights is a session hosted by the Police Federation of England and Wales (PFEW) on Friday 6 March, ‘Give to Gain – How Supporting Others Accelerates Your Own Success’, which will focus on the powerful role of mentorship and coaching.
Guest speaker Inspector Sophie King will share her personal journey, reflecting on how supporting others has strengthened her own leadership development and career progression. The Outstanding Contribution to Women in Policing Award 2025 winner will offer practical takeaways for anyone looking to grow professionally while helping colleagues succeed.
Running from 11am until midday, the webinar is open to all members and offers an opportunity to gain a fresh perspective, develop confidence, and build stronger workplace connections.
Register for the webinar online here.
In addition, six wellbeing-focused webinars will take place across Tuesday 3 March and Thursday 5 March. These expert-led sessions will cover topics such as stress management, sleep, healthy eating, menopause, and overcoming imposter syndrome.
Each session lasts 45 minutes, and members can sign up for as many as they wish to support their wellbeing and personal development. Sign up online here.
International Women’s Day on Sunday 8 March celebrates women’s achievements and promotes equality across all sectors.
