Branch remembers PC Maurice Farmer

Today marks the 45th anniversary of the death of Nottinghamshire Police officer PC Maurice Farmer.

Maurice died on 14 January 1981 aged 32 following a collision while he was on motorcycle patrol.

Nottinghamshire Police Federation secretary Tom Hill said: “Today we remember the life and service of PC Maurice Farmer on the 45th anniversary of his death.

“It’s important that we remember his contribution to the Force and his service to the people of Nottinghamshire.

“The thoughts of myself and Nottinghamshire Police Federation are very much with his family, friends, and colleagues. We will remember him.”
