Branch remembers DS Ludwik Sowka

Nottinghamshire Police Federation has today remembered Detective Sergeant Ludwik Sowka on the anniversary of his death.

Ludwik was 51 when he died in a motorbike accident when travelling to work on 25 January 2002.

Branch secretary Tom Hill said: “The thoughts of everyone at Nottinghamshire Police Federation are with Ludwik’s family, friends, and colleagues.

“We’re thankful for his dedication to Nottinghamshire Police, to the public, and to his role as a police officer.

“It’s important that we keep his memory alive and remember him and his service.”
