Worried about stress? New factsheet could help

11 April 2025

Stress Awareness Month is the topic of one of the latest wellbeing factsheets published by Police Mutual.

Each April, the Stress Management Society holds the awareness month to help people concerned about their stress levels.

The factsheet gives tips on stress management as well as links to organisations offering help and support including the NHS, mental health charity Mind and Anxiety UK.

Stress Awareness Month aims to:

  • Educate the public about the causes and effects of stress
  • Promote effective stress management techniques to enhance mental health and wellbeing
  • Encourage open conversations to reduce the stigma surrounding stress and mental health issues
  • Provide resources and support to help individuals and organisations manage stress effectively.

Police Mutual offers products and services for police officers, staff, their families and the wider police family and publishes wellbeing factsheets each month.

The Stress Awareness Month factsheet is one of six launched this week. The others are:

World Autism Awareness Day
