Police officers and staff, as well as the wider police family, can now access a range of savings and investment products through Police Friendly.

The launch of Police Friendly follows the findings of the Police Family Finance Index, a landmark survey conducted by Metfriendly, which gathered responses from more than 10,000 police officers and staff across the UK.

The research revealed significant financial pressure across the policing community:

●  64 per cent of officers reported experiencing financial concerns

●  17 per cent admitted to missing meals due to lack of money

●  55 per cent said financial stress was seriously affecting their wellbeing

●  Among officers with 1-5 years’ service, 24 per cent are considering leaving policing and 18 per cent are exploring taking on a second job.
