Federation remembers PC

Today marks the anniversary of the loss of Nottinghamshire PC Maurice Farmer.

The 32-year-old officer was killed in a crash while on motorcycle patrol on 14 January 1981.

Nottinghamshire Police Federation chair Simon Riley said: "Today we remember PC Farmer and the service he gave to the Force and the communities of Nottinghamshire. But we also keep his family, friends and former colleagues in our thoughts as they mark this sad anniversary."
