Tips and advice for improving financial wellbeing are now available for Nottinghamshire Police Federation members from a free new online factsheet.

The resource has been produced by Police Mutual, which provides financial services and welfare support to the police service.

Published to mark this year's Debt Awareness Week (18-24 March), the factsheet is full of financial tips, including how to budget, understand debt, and where savings can be made.

Other advice includes taking stock of finances, setting savings goals, and reviewing financial products like insurance or mortgages.

The factsheet also contains information on the mental health impact that debt and poor finances can have, with signposts for support and advice.
