The spacious cottage sleeps up to five, plus a travel cot, and features:

  • A large double en suite with shower

  • One twin and one single bedroom

  • A bathroom with bath

  • A Fully fitted modern kitchen with fridge freezer, oven and microwave, and

  • A garden with outdoor seating.

Founded in 1897 with the aim of supporting police officers in need, the PTC charity is committed to helping the serving police workforce and retired police officers recover from injury, illnesses or health conditions (sustained on or off duty) and promoting the wellbeing of the policing profession.

Its two centres have state of the art facilities with a multi-disciplinary team of experts including physiotherapists, fitness instructors, nurses, counsellors and complementary therapists.

Physiotherapy

They offer residential physiotherapy and psychological wellbeing programmes alongside a range of online programmes, including specialist support for women’s health issues and officers taking job-related fitness tests.

Around 4,000 members of the policing profession visit the centres each year.
