Federation remembers PC

Nottinghamshire Police Federation today remembers a Nottinghamshire PC who died on this day in 1981.

PC Maurice Farmer was 32 when he was killed in a collision while he was on motorcycle patrol on 14 January.

Simon Riley, chair of Nottinghamshire Police Federation, said: “PC Farmer died serving the Force and the people of Nottinghamshire. Today our thoughts are with his family, friends and former colleagues who continue to feel his loss.”
