Remembering PC Maurice Farmer

Nottinghamshire Police Federation chair Simon Riley has paid tribute to fallen officer PC Maurice Farmer on the anniversary of his death.

PC Farmer (32) was killed in a collision while he was on motorcycle patrol on 14 January 1981.

Simon said: “Our thoughts today are with PC Farmer’s family, friends and former colleagues on the anniversary of his death. It is important that we remember those who gave their lives serving their communities”
