Nominations for a national award that recognises the colleagues and projects that have made a difference to the wellbeing of officers and staff are still open.
The annual Oscar Kilo awards recognise the fantastic work that has been done – and continues to be done – to provide wellbeing support across UK policing.
Now Nottinghamshire Police Federation members are being encouraged to nominate colleagues and projects – and even themselves.
Simon Riley, branch chair, said: “The Oscar Kilo awards are a highlight of the policing calendar and recognise the fantastic work that goes into supporting the physical and mental health of officers and staff.
“We see that work every day in our Force and now is the time to shout about it with a nomination for a national award.”
Oscar Kilo, the national police wellbeing service, is inviting nominations in seven categories:
There is also a special non-police award for other organisations such as the fire and rescue service, who are working towards completing the Blue Light Wellbeing Framework (BLWF).
Nominations close on 10 March. The winners will be announced at the awards event this summer.
Visit the Oscar Kilo website for more information on the awards and to nominate yourself, a colleague or a project.
