Are you paying too much tax?

Nottinghamshire Police Federation members should check they are paying the correct amount of tax.

For those unsure about how to check themselves, help is available from The Tax Refund Company which works with other Federation branches across England and Wales.

Nottinghamshire officers who have used this service before received average refunds of just over £200 each.

You should not assume HMRC will send you a refund if you have overpaid tax. It is up to you to check if you have paid too much tax and claim it back if you have.
