Important changes to Group Insurance Scheme membership

Members of the Group Insurance Scheme are being notified of some important changes being made to their membership:

• Letter to serving officers

• Letter to retired officers

• Letter to Special Constables

• Travel and RAC Scheme Updates

From 1 May 2025, there will be a small increase in membership fees. All costs can be found by visiting the dedicated Group Insurance Scheme pages on our website:

• Serving police officers

• Retired police officers

• Specials

• Police Staff

Following a review with George Burrows, the Federation’s Group Insurance Scheme partner, several enhancements will be made to the membership package, in addition to the already excellent benefits included.

Some of the additional enhancements are:

• New virtual physiotherapy service: enabling quick and easy access to highly-qualified physiotherapists via video link. 

• New legal insurance provider and enhanced cover

• New gadget insurance provider and enhanced cover
