Wiltshire Police Federation - Awards Ceremony – Wellington Barn - 21st May 2026

As you will all be aware, this was our first awards ceremony and the event was made even more special when after a miserable few days, the sun came out allowing guests to fully experience the beautiful location.

I hope you all had an enjoyable evening and thank you so much for the lovely feedback received following the event.  As you know this event was organised in three months with the support of four amazing Reps who worked many long hours alongside their day job and to whom I am extremely grateful.

The aim was to add a personal touch, and I am so proud of all the Reps who stood up to read the citation for their award-winning colleagues in front of 120 people.  I think we would

also agree that we couldn’t have asked for a better and more natural compere for the evening than our very own Chair, Joe and I am sure he has a potential career post policing!!

This awards ceremony was only made possible through the generous sponsorship and prize donations, so a big thank you to all our sponsors for your continued support to Wiltshire Police Federation.  It is very much appreciated. The event raised valuable funds for two worthwhile charities, namely Police Care and Bath & Wiltshire Air Ambulance.   I am very grateful to all the local businesses who also donated many prizes for the auction and raffle and enabled £2000 to be raised, which will be split between the two charities. Thank also to the charity representatives who joined us on the evening and for the service they provide to Police Officers and our local community. I am looking to organise another roadshow over the summer so I will hopefully catch up with you all then.
