There's a push to get more female police officers in Wiltshire. The County has around 360 at the moment but the Federation Chair Mark Andrews says there is also pressure to recruit more officers from ethnic minority backgrounds. He said: “Around six per cent of the community have ethnic backgrounds so it's essential we have a population working within the organisation which represents the community as a whole.”
