The benefit ceases on return to work or if the member retires, resigns, is discharged from the police service, or fails to pay the monthly scheme subscription. 13. Is physiotherapy included with the Group Insurance Scheme?
From 1st April 2025, Online physiotherapy will be available with GP24. For more information please click here
14. Does the travel insurance include cruise cover?
We can confirm the policy covers cruises, but it does not incorporate cruise-specific cover.
There is £10,000,000 in Emergency Medical expenses which includes repatriation and emergency evacuation – this is usually what cruise companies are looking for.
What members do not have is cover for situations such as missed port, skipped port, cabin confinement etc.
Please check with your cruise company as they usually only ask that you make sure you have the medical expenses, however, some have been requesting to ensure you have missed port as well which would require a top-up cover. A company which can do this is Voyager who can be contacted on 01483562662.
