Humberside Police Federation

Members urged to have their say in Federation survey

26 October 2020

Branch chair Pete Musgrave is urging members not to miss the opportunity to help Humberside Police Federation share the wide-reaching impact of policing during the pandemic by taking part in a new survey.

The 2020 national Federation Demand, Capacity and Welfare Survey, which closes on 16 November, gives members the chance to shape Federation policy by looking at a number of issues.

Pete said: “We encourage as many of our members as possible to have their say in this key survey. It will help us build a clear picture of how our members are affected by a whole range of issues, not least the Covid-19 pandemic which has had such an impact on policing and society in general.

“I appreciate you’re all incredibly busy but please take a moment to have your say. The more members who complete it, the stronger our message will be when we put the issues to decision makers.”

As well as looking at the pandemic, it also examines the plan to recruit an extra 20,000 officers by 2023.

Contact the Federation office if you have not received a link to the survey.
