TESTIMONIALS
Loan boost
Thank you for letting me know the decision of the Welfare Fund Committee to offer me a further loan of £800.
I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this. As you know, it has been an extremely difficult year for me and I honestly don't know where I would have been without the support of the Police Federation and the Welfare Fund.
Thank you again for all your help and support
I have been to see a therapist called Mariam in Little Driffield thanks to Welfare Fund funding, due to an incident that occurred at work some time ago.
I have had previous therapy from the NHS which was not helping, in fact, it was making my issues worse.
After seeing Mariam, I immediately felt more positive and, after just two sessions, I am coping so much better and feel stronger and more confident than I have done for as long as I can remember.
I would certainly recommend Mariam; she has been amazing in my ongoing recovery. It has assisted in my ability to do my job with more confidence.
I would like to thank the Benevolent and Welfare Fund for making this therapy available to me and, in essence, giving me my life back.
Thank you.
'This helped me through the most difficult time in my life'
I am just writing to thank you for the £4,600 loan which I am now in a position to pay and I have sent a cheque for the full amount.
The loan was given to help me through the most difficult time in my life, to help over the loss of my husband which is why I chose the Welfare and Benevolent Fund to receive donations after the funeral in lieu of flowers. This is in the hope that others can benefit as I did.
Help and assistance
I wanted to write to let you know that I am very grateful for the funding received from yourselves.
I was going through a very difficult time and it was causing me untold sleepless nights!
During this time, I was also going through some particularly trying times at work and ended up being re-deployed (my choice). The stress of it all was beginning to affect me on a day to day basis. I now have a new role which I am enjoying, which to be honest, I don't think I would have done without the assistance of the Welfare Fund.
Now I don't have the pressure of such high outgoings, I am much more relaxed and am able to budget much better than I was previously doing.
Once again, many thanks for your help and assistance.
Funded break
Thank you all so very much for our three days' away in one of the Group Trusts holiday homes and all your care and kindness.
