It was with great sadness and a heavy heart I learnt of the passing of Daz Martin . This is one of the hardest things I have ever had to write! I spent the first six years of my policing career on shift with you and we became very good friends. Whenever we were paired up which was most of the time we had a great time and it soon became a standing joke with the custody staff that if we were together they were in for a busy shift!! We were the dream team. When we went out a few months ago I told everyone after one or two drinks that if I had to choose one officer to work with it would be you and I am so pleased I told you that because it was 100 per cent true!!! I met this amazing funny guy at the Canary Island a few years ago. At that time I wanted to join the police in the Netherlands. I had a chat about being a police officer with this amazing guy.
