Today marks the third anniversary of the death of Hertfordshire Police officer PC Bruce Lister.
Bruce, who was a forensic collision investigator with the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, died on 30 January 2023.
He was found by colleagues to have died at his desk in Stevenage Police Station having suffered a medical episode after reporting for late shift the previous evening. He was 57.
Luke Mitchell, chair of Hertfordshire Police Federation, said: “The thoughts of everyone at Hertfordshire Police Federation are with Bruce’s family, friends, and colleagues on this sad anniversary.
“As we remember his life and his service, we’re thankful for his dedication to policing and to the public.
“It’s important that we keep his memory alive.”
