Hertfordshire Police Federation members are being invited to sign up for a webinar which will highlight the importance of people looking after their own mental health and checking in on one another.
The webinar is being held on Wednesday (15 May) in the midst of Mental Health Awareness Week which runs from 13 to 19 May and will coincide with the launch of the Police Federation’s #AskTwice campaign.
It will explain why asking if someone is OK twice is crucial, and outline the strategy behind the campaign.
As this year's Mental Health Awareness Week theme revolves around movement for mental wellbeing, Mel Lynch will be guest speaker. Mel will share her insights on building habits and routines, along with some simple ‘deskercise’ movements that can greatly benefit people’s mental health.
Mel served in the British Army as a physical training Instructor for 24 years. She is extremely passionate about helping others and providing a service to enable them to achieve their goals and make changes.
The webinar runs from 10.30 to 11.15am.
