Hertfordshire Police Federation today remembers PC Ronald Hull.
PC Hull (35) was helping an Army ambulance crew at the scene of a serious collision in thick fog in Royston when he was hit by another car. The accident happened on 21 November 1989.
“Today we remember PC Hull and the service he gave to the Force and the communities of Hertfordshire. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and former colleagues,” says Hertfordshire Police Federation chair Luke Mitchell.
PC Hull had four children and his daughter, DC Katie Hull, followed him into the Force taking the same collar number as her dad.
