Retirement seminar: sign up now

Hertfordshire Police Federation members who are coming to the end of their service are being invited to register for a special seminar organised by Police Money Matters (PMM).

The itinerary has been tailored to suit the needs of officers who are nearing retirement or are in the last 18 months of their service.

Members who are approaching retirement or have completed 30 years’ pensionable service are invited to attend the event with their spouse or partner as there are some important decisions to consider as an individual and as a couple.

Officers attending will be able to discuss whether their pension will meet the actual future cost of living and the pros and cons of paying off their mortgage and take advice on cash-flow forecasting, long-term care planning and inheritance planning. There will also be updates on mortgage planning, pensions and savings.
