Officers who have a fixed rate mortgage expiring in six to seven months’ time are being urged to make contact with Uniform Mortgages, a Hertfordshire Police Federation member services provider.
Advisers at Uniform Mortgages believe it is very likely that interest rates will increase after a Bank of England monetary meeting on 15 September.
“At Uniform Mortgages, we have the ability to secure a rate up to six months in advance so if you have a mortgage at the moment and your fixed rate is expiring in six to seven months’ time then please make contact with my office and speak to one of our mortgage advisers,” says Mustafa Nurettin from Uniform Mortgages.
“Please remember we are independent mortgage advisers - our advice and arranging of our mortgage will be free of charge.”
