Hertfordshire Police Federation has added to its holiday options for members with the purchase of a new respite/welfare lodge.
The two-bedroomed lodge sleeps six and overlooks the golf course at the Haven Hopton site near Great Yarmouth.
It boasts a double bedroom with an en suite shower and a further twin room and separate bathroom with toilet and shower.
There is a large open plan living area with a kitchen which is fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine and even a wine fridge.
A large outside area is furnished with a rattan sofa and table and chairs and has stunning views over the golf course. There is a set of clubs for those that want to take advantage of the free golf on the lodge’s doorstep.
The lodge is bigger than the static caravan already owned by Hertfordshire Police Federation on the same site.
Branch secretary Al Wollaston said: “We are really excited that the purchase of the new holiday lodge has gone through and that bookings are now being taken for this spring, summer and autumn seasons.
“Holidaying in the UK has become very popular over the last couple of years and there are few better places for a staycation than the wonderful Norfolk coast.
“The lodge and caravan are on a terrific holiday park which has direct access to the beach, pools with water slides and palm tree fountains, a restaurant and family amusement centre. It is a great place to take the family for a well-earned break.”
Members who fancy a holiday in the new lodge should email Al Wollaston.
