Hertfordshire Police Federation members are being urged to attend the final Election Café before the Federation elections get underway.
The online event gives members a chance to meet up with workplace reps and find out more about the vital role they play within the Federation.
And it could inspire undecided potential candidates to make up their minds and stand for election.
The informal online chat is designed to showcase how reps and self-organised groups are vital in supporting branch members and is part of the ongoing Reps@Work campaign which highlights the incredible work reps do.
Hertfordshire Police Federation branch secretary Al Wollaston said: “The Police Federation election process starts next month and this is a great opportunity for members to meet some of those already working as Fed reps who can give them a real insight into what the role entails.
“It is open to every serving member and we would particularly encourage members from under-represented groups to register, attend and find out more about becoming a rep.
“Hopefully, it will lead to more members putting themselves forward for the challenging but incredibly rewarding role of workplace representative.”
The Election Café will be open from 2pm until 3pm on Monday 21 June.
