Retired members

Retired members can access the following cover:

Life Assurance @ £55,000.00 under 65 and £10,000 for 65 to 70-year-olds
Best Doctors Service - family cover
Worldwide annual multi-trip travel insurance - family cover
Legal expenses insurance - family cover
RAC Motor Breakdown Assistance - member and partner
Home Emergency assistance – member only
Mobile phone and gadget insurance - member and partner.

Monthly premiums are*: £40.16 single cover and £47.61 joint cover under 65 then £40.53 single cover and £47.35 for 65 to 70-year-olds.

*The premium includes Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) and the Federation’s administration fee.

At 70 years of age the scheme automatically continues into the 70 Plus cover for retired members of the Personal Insurance Scheme at a monthly premium of £22.44.

Please note cover is significantly reduced as it does not cover Life insurance or Travel, it only covers the below:
