Hampshire Police Federation Launches New Look Awards Night

Hampshire Police Federation are delighted to launch a new look Awards evening - coming this October - celebrating the great work of colleagues and Federation Representatives.

The Hampshire Police Federation Awards will highlight some incredible and dedicated police officers and also raise money for two fantastic causes: The Intrepid Games Foundation and Grassroots Suicide Prevention.

Special Constable, Detective and Uniformed Officer of the Year will all be recognised, as well as a Chair’s Award and an Inspiration Award being presented at the event.

Federation representatives who have gone over and above in supporting our colleagues over the past 12 months will also be receiving deserving Awards on the night.

Spencer Wragg, Chair of Hampshire Police Federation, said: “The amazing, diligent and dedicated work of our hard-working Hampshire colleagues is not always recognised so these Awards are a brilliant opportunity to celebrate the best of the best, and highlight to everyone what an outstanding job our officers are doing in increasingly difficult circumstances.

“This event is about highlighting police officers whose incredible work has stood out across the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Policing region, whether that's showing exemplary care and concern for the public they serve, showing courage whether that is physically or emotionally or representing and supporting colleagues through tough times.

“Officers often carry out this difficult, dangerous and sometimes thankless role with no fuss and ceremony… so we are proud to be providing them with the fuss and a ceremony for them to enjoy.”
