A Christmas and New Year message from Derbyshire Police Federation

I’d like to thank you all for you hard work and dedication throughout the past year.

Once again, members have faced significant challenges, and have risen to them with commitment and resilience.

Your efforts do not go unnoticed, and you should be immensely proud of the vital work you do every day to keep our communities safe.

I would also like to extend our sincere thanks to your families and loved ones. Their understanding and unwavering support is vital in enabling you to serve, particularly during times when the demands of policing impact home life.

Festive period

We are grateful for the sacrifices they make alongside you.

For those working over the festive period, please stay safe and look after yourselves and your colleagues.

For those able to take some well-earned time off, I hope you get the opportunity to rest, recharge, and spend valuable time with family and friends.

Please remember that Federation representatives will remain available throughout Christmas and the New Year period should you need advice, support, or representation. Do not hesitate to reach out if you need us, we are here for you.
