Fallen officer remembered

Derbyshire Police Federation has paid tribute to PC Tim Kent on the anniversary of his death.

Tim died on 20 September 2001 when he was hit by a lorry after his car broke down as he travelled to work. He was 36.

Derbyshire Police Federation chair Tony Wetton said: “We will never forget Tim’s service to the Force and the people of Derbyshire.

“Our thoughts today are with his family, friends and former colleagues."
