Season’s greetings from your Federation

On behalf of everyone at Derbyshire Police Federation, we would like to wish all officers, staff and police volunteers a very happy Christmas.

Christmas is going to feel very different for us all and our thoughts are with those who have lost loved ones during the year or who are unable to spend time with their families due to the restrictions of the pandemic. And, of course, we appreciate that many of you will be working over the Christmas and New Year period.

Whatever you have planned, we hope you are able to enjoy the festive season and, above all, we hope you and your families stay safe and well.

The Christmas and New Year period is often a time for reflection and I think we will all look back on 2020 with some sadness but we also need to reflect on the way in which the whole of Derbyshire Police has responded to the challenges the pandemic has brought.  We would like to put on record our thanks to everyone for their efforts.
