Members who have not already taken part in the annual Police Federation of England and Wales pay and morale survey are being urged to do so.
The survey results are used in the Federation’s annual submission to the Police Remuneration Review Body (PRRB) – the independent organisation which advises the Government on officer pay.
“I am sure many officers will already have given their responses but I would just like to remind those who haven’t to give their views as soon as possible,” says Tony Wetton, chair of Derbyshire Police Federation, “I know everyone is busy but this really is an important survey and the more responses the Federation receives the stronger the evidence it can present to the Government nationally and to chief officers at a local level. This is a genuine chance for us all to have our say on pay and morale – please take part if you can.”
The survey has been issued via the Federation’s National Member Database and will close at midnight on Friday 11 September.
