Paris police attack

Derbyshire Police Federation chair Tony Wetton has expressed his shock and sadness at the shocking deaths of three police officers and an administration worker at a police HQ building in Paris last Thursday.

Their attacker, also believed to be a police worker, was shot dead by police.

“This was such a shocking incident,” says Tony, “Our thoughts are with the families, friends and colleagues of the people who died.”

National Federation chair John Apter has written a letter to the head of the Syndicat Alliance Police Nationale,  the French equivalent of Police Federation, to express his sympathies.
