Pay and Morale Survey: have your say

Derbyshire Police Federation is encouraging members to take part in this year's Pay and Morale Survey.

The annual survey, run by the Police Federation of England and Wales, is confidential and gives officers the opportunity to share their experiences of pay, working conditions and wellbeing.

It provides valuable evidence that helps shape the Federation's work and supports its campaign for fair pay, improved conditions and better support for police officers.

Every response helps to build a clearer picture of the challenges facing frontline policing. whether it's concerns about the workloads, morale, staffing levels or financial pressures.

They also help the Federation ensure the realities of policing are reflected in discussions with Government, chief officers, policy makers, and other key stakeholders.

Derbyshire Police Federation secretary Chris Parker said: “The Pay and Morale Survey is one of the most important opportunities our members have to make their voices heard.

“Policing continues to face significant challenges, and it is essential that decision-makers understand the impact these issues are having on officers.

“I’d encourage every Derbyshire Police Federation member to spare a few minutes to complete the survey.

“The more members who take part, the stronger the evidence we have to press for change.”
