Federation remembers PC

Derbyshire PC Steven Sharman died 35 years ago today.

Steven collapsed and died while attending a road accident on 18 March 1990. He was 36.

Branch chair Keith Chambers said: “Today we remember Steven and the service he gave to Derbyshire Constabulary and the public. His tragic death at such a young age is a reminder of the fact that some officers never make it home to their families at the end of a shift. Our thoughts are with Steven’s loved ones today as they continue to feel his loss.”
