Federation members nearing retirement can now book a place on one of three seminars next year.
The pre-retirement seminars are aimed at officers within two years of retirement, but are open to any Federation member with 25 years’ plus service.
Next year’s seminars will be held on:
Topics covered include managing your finances, developing a financial plan, wills and estate planning, maximising tax-efficiency and understanding the Police Pension Schemes.
The seminars are held at the Derbyshire Police Federation offices at the Coney Green Business Park in Claycross and run from 9am to 5.30pm on each date.
They are hosted by Reflect Financial, a financial services practice with a specialist team catering for the needs of serving and retired police officers. The Reflect team has more than three decades of experience within the financial services sector. It is led by senior financial planning consultant Philip Pearson and Tim Jackson QPM, retired chief superintendent and former national secretary of the Police Superintendents’ Association.
