On behalf of Derbyshire Police Federation we’d like to wish all police officers, staff, volunteers and their families a very happy Christmas and all the best for 2025.
The tireless and selfless work of our members is inspiring and we would like to take this chance to thank you all for the fantastic work you do.
We know it is appreciated by the vast majority of people in Derbyshire.
If you are working over Christmas, we hope that you are able to spend quality time with your loved ones and to take a break from work to recharge.
If you are on duty, we know how difficult it can be and the sacrifices you make, particularly if you’re missing precious family time.
And with attacks on police officers continuing to be a worrying trend, we urge all members to stay safe and look out for each other.
Please reach out to the Federation if you need representation or support.
We’re looking forward to once again representing you in 2025 and to making sure your voices are heard.
Have a happy and healthy Christmas and New Year.
Branch chair Keith Chambers, secretary Kirsty Bunn, wellbeing and CAPLO lead Helen Gallear, along with the rest of the Derbyshire Police Federation team.
