Federation remembers fallen servicemen and women

Representatives from Derbyshire Police Federation were among those honouring fallen servicemen and women at an event held to mark this year’s Armistice Day.

Taking place on Monday (11 November) at Force headquarters, the ceremony was attended by branch chair Keith Chambers and secretary Kirsty Bunn.

Keith, who laid a wreath at the event, reflected on the day’s significance: “On Monday, we came together, as one, to honour and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. 

“It was a huge privilege to represent the Federation and lay a wreath as we paid tribute to the bravery and dedication shown by thousands. 

“Events like this demonstrate our commitment to ensuring their actions will never be forgotten.”
