Exclusive savings account available for members

A savings account has been launched for Derbyshire Police Federation members with a guaranteed return of five per cent AER (Annual Equivalent Rate).

Serve and Protect Credit Union - formerly Police Credit Union - has a new Fixed Saver account which allows members to deposit between £1,000 and £10,000 with a guaranteed return of five per cent over a 12-month term.

Savings with Serve and Protect Credit Union are protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, up to £85,000.

The product is available on a first-come first-served basis.

The closing date for applications is 31 January and new Serve and Protect Credit Union members must apply by 26 January.
