ABS-RSS rollout update

A series of slides have been published giving Derbyshire Police Federation members an update on the issues around the ABS-RSS rollout.

Produced by the Police Federation of England and Wales (PFEW), the three-page PowerPoint also provides information on options for members to consider.

PFEW says it is ‘disappointed’ with the number of issues with the rollout.

In an update, PFEW said: “We will be speaking with the NPCC over the coming days in order to get some clarity on how Forces and administrators intend to address the failures, and also the number of errors in statements that have been produced.

 “We would not expect any officer to be disadvantaged by the failures and errors and will be pushing for a freeze on interest and an increase in the window in which they can pay if there have been errors and failures to deliver.”
