Derbyshire Police Federation member Laura Nicholson has told how she saved her colleague from being choked during a vicious assault which has earned her a nomination for a national bravery award.

Laura discusses the attack and how she’s been shortlisted for the Police Bravery Awards in the summer edition of the branch magazine, News & views, which is out now.
