Derbyshire Police Federation

Season’s greetings from Derbyshire Police Federation

21 December 2023

We would like to wish all our members, volunteers and staff, as well as colleagues throughout the Force, a very Merry Christmas. We hope you manage to enjoy some much-needed time with your family and friends over the festive season.

This time of year is often a time of reflection. As we look back at the year and reflect on the many challenges faced by our members, we can’t help but feel so proud of you all.  Despite the many hurdles you face, you continue to show determination and commitment to keeping the public safe, and for that, we thank you.

For so many of you, some of the Christmas period will be spent at work, continuing to do your job - serving communities and protecting the public. So please, try to take some time for yourself and your friends and family this Christmas. Check-in on one another and reach out if you ever feel you need support from the Federation. Our door is always open.

Wishing you the very best for a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  Whatever you are doing – stay safe.

From: Branch chair Tony Wetton and secretary Kirsty Bunn.
